Bringing the LYCOMING STANDARD to You.

Engines on the Lycoming-approved overhauled (exchange) program are rebuilt in full compliance with the Manufacturer’s Overhaul Manual, incorporating all mandatory replacement parts. It also adheres to the latest revision of Service Bulletin 240, as well as all current Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, Service Instructions, and Service Letters.

Each engine is completely disassembled, cleaned, visually inspected, non-destructive tested (NDT) for cracks, and dimensionally checked. After reassembly, the engine is thoroughly tested to ensure optimal performance.

A complete report detailing the specific engine being provided is available upon request.

The engine cost INCLUDES the following New/Overhauled Components:

The engine will have a full engine test in accordance with the Manufacturer’s instructions on a purpose-built Dynamometer and released to service with an EASA Form 1/CAA/FAA 8130-3. All components are overhauled and tested at the approved engine shop to allow full control over our quality and timescales.

 

Core Return Terms and Conditions

· The additional core charge is required to ensure we receive your engine in a suitable time and suitable condition. Cores must be returned within 30 days of receiving our engine. All cores returned are subject to inspection prior to credit notes being issued.

· We encourage you to send your core in advance to speed up the process. We may be able to waiver the core fee if you do so, but this is approved on a case by case basis only. Issues with the condition of the core may delay/prevent us shipping out your replacement engine.

 

Warranty

These engines have valid warranty for 24 months or 500 hours, which covers labour with parts as warranted by individual manufacturers. The warranty period runs from the date of completion of work at the facility. Warranty is subject to the correct maintenance procedures being carried out. The warranty for any field-overhauled accessories (Magneto’s, Fuel Systems Components, Turbo Components etc) is valid for 6 months or 100 hours (whichever occurs first). New parts used are warrantied by the manufacturer of the product.
